As a site logistics specialist, you will develop and implement customized logistics concepts and plans to ensure that our projects run smoothly. You will take responsibility for material procurement, storage, transportation and distribution to ensure that all required resources, materials and equipment are available on time and according to project requirements.

You will work closely with purchasing departments and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and find cost-efficient solutions. You will plan and monitor deliveries and transportation so that they meet the project milestones. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to understand the logistical requirements of the project and implement them in the best possible way.

Your role will also include identifying and overcoming logistical challenges and bottlenecks to avoid delays. With your structured approach, you will keep accurate records of material stocks, deliveries and other logistical information. You will ensure that all safety and quality standards are met in storage, transportation and material handling and continuously work to improve logistical processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Your strengths

Completed technical education (HTL, LAP) or comparable qualification
Good knowledge of the logistics industry and the requirements for materials and resources in projects
Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and coordinate complex logistics operations
High degree of independence and reliability
Knowledge of logistics software and tools is an advantage
